The Sailing Ship Foundation of Raahe

The purpose of the foundation is to maintain the interest of navigation and sea life and to offer possibilities for the young people to learn how to sail a sailing boat as a crew member. The skilled sailors and seamen volyntarily train the crew during the juvenile sailings.

The schooner is maintained voluntarily by several skilled craftsmen.

In order to organize the juvenile sailings the foundation sells charter cruises for groups. All the profits are used for training seamanships for young people and maintaining the ship.
